    A Map of… your mind

Gain profound insights into your personality, strengths and development needs through world-class psychometric assessments.

    Who is it for?

Anyone wanting deeper insights into their strengths and development needs.

    Overview

'Psychometric' literally means 'measuring the operations of the mind'. In practice, they are tools used to measure personality, intelligence, attitude and ability. It's not a perfect science and should always be combined with other assessment and development methods.

    Why Us?

There's decades of data to support that these tests are valid. However, the benefit is in the conversation that follows. At worst, it's a cracking conversation starter. At best, it's a profound insight into your personality and habits. We offer: Hogan, Hucama, MBTI, Lumina Spark, MiRo, DiSC and Insights.

    What you'll gain

    How you work with others.

    What drives and motivates you.

    How adaptable you are.

If you prefer structure or improvising.

    How self-disciplined you are.

    How creative you are.

    How We Do It

TCQ primarily uses personality and attitude tests. We handle the results very carefully and the person doing the test has control over how the data is (or isn't) shared. The participant will do a short questionnaire and then the computer does its magic and gives us the results. We then have a conversation with you and use the data to inform development suggestions.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our A Map of… your mind programme.

Why should I invest time in a psychometric assessment?+

Understanding yourself better is one of the highest-leverage investments you can make. Psychometrics reveal patterns in how you think, communicate and respond under pressure - insights that are almost impossible to see on your own. This self-awareness directly translates into better decision-making, stronger relationships and more intentional career development.

Will my results be shared with my manager or organisation?+

You have full control over how your results are shared. We handle all data with strict confidentiality - nothing is disclosed without your explicit consent. Many participants choose to share key insights with their team to improve collaboration, but that is always your decision.

What if I don't like what the results say about me?+

There are no 'good' or 'bad' results. Psychometrics simply map your natural preferences and tendencies - they don't judge them. Every profile has strengths and potential blind spots. The real value is in the conversation that follows, where we help you leverage your strengths and develop strategies for areas you'd like to grow.

How can psychometrics help my team communicate better?+

When team members understand each other's communication styles, motivations and stress responses, misunderstandings drop dramatically. Instead of assuming a colleague is being difficult, you realise they simply process information differently. Teams that share their profiles often report faster decision-making, fewer conflicts and a more supportive working environment.

    Are psychometric tests actually accurate?+

The tools we use - including Hogan, MBTI, Lumina Spark, DiSC and others - are backed by decades of validated research. No single test captures everything about a person, which is why we always combine results with a guided feedback conversation. Most participants tell us the insights are remarkably accurate and immediately useful.

How is this different from a personality quiz I can do online?+

Free online quizzes lack scientific rigour and offer generic, surface-level feedback. Our assessments use validated instruments administered by qualified practitioners. More importantly, the real value isn't the report itself - it's the expert-led debrief where we translate the data into practical, personalised development actions.

Can psychometrics help me become a better leader?+

Absolutely. The best leaders are deeply self-aware. Understanding your default leadership style, how you handle conflict, what motivates you and how others perceive you gives you a powerful foundation for growth. Many of our clients use psychometric insights as a springboard for targeted coaching and leadership development.
