A map of your mind
Who is it for?
Anyone wanting deeper insights into their strengths and development needs.
Overview
‘Psychometric’ literally means ‘measuring the operations of the mind’. In practice, they are tools used to measure personality, intelligence, attitude and ability. It’s not a perfect science and should always be combined with other assessment and development methods.
How we do it
TCQ primarily uses personality and attitude tests. We handle the results very carefully and the person doing the test has control over how the info the data is (or isn’t) shared.
The participant will do a short questionnaire and then the computer does its magic and gives us the results. We then have a conversation with you and use the data to inform development suggestions.
What you'll gain
This varies depending on the test but you’’ll gain insights into:
- How you work with others
- What drives and motivates you
- How adaptable you are
- If you prefer structure or improvising
- How self-disciplined you are
- How creative you are
Remember this is a snapshot of your current preferences. It’s the start of your development, not the end!
Is it all nonsense?
No! There’s decades of data to support that these tests are valid. However, the benefit is in the conversation that follows. At worst, it’s a cracking conversation starter. At best, it’s a profound insight into your personality and habits.
